Hi everyone,
Wow, what a month March has been! 3 of my cherubs have birthdays in March, and one of them had a week off of school, because they were ill... it has been a very full on month.
But here we are in April! A quarter of the year is already gone! So, let's jump into the challenge reveals I have to share with you, and not think about how quickly the time is going!
This month's mood board is called 'Tangerine Splash' and is chock a block full of inspiration! I just know you'll have so much fun with this one!
And of course, here are the close ups :)
The orange gauze is from the D-Lish Scraps
shop, as are the blue and aqua button, the stars, sequins, chevron flair, copper wire, bicycle charm and jewelled flowers - actually, just about all the embellies on this page, except the crocheted flower lol.

The challenge this month is to use this gorgeous image for inspiration:
Here is my take on the challenge:
I took inspiration from the colours, the circles and the purple flower. My handmade embellie is the Catie's Craft Corner Enchanting Envelope, in which I have hidden my journaling.
Would love to see what you create for this challenge!

The challenge for this page is to:
"Scrap or art journal about a favourite pastime from your youth. Was it a sport, fishing, cycling, reading, or teasing your older brother? Use a photo of when you were young, a photo of the pastime, or whatever is appropriate!!!"
My page is about the series of mystery novels I read over and over again as a teen... The Trixie Belden series. I just LOVED these books!
I still have my collection :)
Here are the close ups:
This pic below shows the journaling hidden under the photo - the string is attached to the journaling card.
I used pages from an old book and glued them to my cardstock with Mod Podge, including a layer of Mod Podge over the top. This gave a great texture and surface to spray ink onto and to distress using inks and tea. I soaked the gauze in tea also. The corrugated cardboard added extra texture and age to the page.
Can't wait to see what you share for this challenge :)
Be sure to check out each of the challenges and the amazingly inspiring work of all the other DT members!
Thanks for looking. Warmest wishes, Catie xo
