A very special bird

Hello friends,

Aren't these pics just gorgeous?! I went outside to feed our dog this evening and take the washing off the line (yawn) and look what I saw in the sky above our house. Can you see the shape of a bird in the clouds?

Here's a closer look...

It was just before sunset... I went back out a little bit later once the sky was getting darker.... and got these as it was disappearing.

And then I spotted the new moon...or is it the first quarter moon?? Anyhoo...

Wow, pays to look up every now and then ;)
