Oh, good golly, it has been nearly a month since I updated my blog! And I cannot believe how quickly the time has gone, and how much I have done in that time. I have been so busy with Christmas preparations, as have most people, as well as making cards and bags for orders, plus increasing stocks for the markets. On top of that I have had a couple of CM parties to keep me out of trouble also!
The following cards were for an order I had for 15 Christmas cards recently...
The following cards were for an order I had for 15 Christmas cards recently...
This is a card I made for a 21st birthday... I designed it so that all the guests at the party could sign it - a special memento for the birthday girl...
These are Christmas cards I have been making over the last week for the markets I held a stall at today...
...plus a couple of new novelty ones I am experimenting with... sold the first one below today! From the feedback I got from people today, they think they're pretty cute... what do you think? I am working on a gypsy and a cowboy at the moment, and will then do some baby cards in this range also... watch this space...
And lastly, below are some bags I made for an order last week. The first two pictures are the same bag - green on one side, red on the other. I made it so that it can be fastened no matter which side of the bag you choose to have showing when using it...
This small bag was made for a 4yo girl... it has pink floral patches on the other side, but I didn't take a picture of the pink side (oops!).
So there you have it; this is what has been keeping me so busy lately. I am relieved that things have settled down for the time being... I have desparately missed doing some scrapping, not having done any for over a month now. Can't wait to get back and start creating some new layouts.
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas, filled with happiness and many special memories and blessings.
Thanks for looking; warmest wishes,
Catie xo
Hi Catie
ReplyDeleteYou have been very creative. I am inspired by your blog and your creations. Over the last six months I have been making an advent calender for the girls. There are 24 hadn made stockings/hats/mittens with beading on them. Olivia has loved getting a surprise each morning from the Christmas fairy in them. I have one hat to make and it's done!! I also made Olivia a wardrobe of dolls clothes from scraps of material for her Christmas present. As a result I haven't got around to making my Christmas cards this year. So, I will be emailing everyone my Christmas wishes. I know, it's not quite the same as a hand made card, but I will be saving paper. I hope you have a lovely Christmas. Say hi to Jeff and the kids.
